Lilydale is a pretty town in a rural setting approximately one hour from the centre of Melbourne. The township and local community of Lilydale is quite self-contained with a variety of shops and services suitable to meet student needs. The Student Village is within walking distance of the University facilities, the Lilydale Railway Station, the nearest supermarket and the township of Lilydale.

Public Transport

A public bus service connects the Lilydale Campus with the town of Lilydale and the railway station. A Student Union bus service operates on evenings during the semester. The railway service links Lilydale with Swinburne's Hawthorn Campus and the Melbourne metropolitan area. A taxi service is available 24 hours a day.
