What is the eBusiness program?The Master of Business (eBusiness and Communication) is an integrated, holistic business program which is international and intercultural in focus. eBusiness is apparent in every aspect of business. It influences all enterprises, regardless of size, industry, products and services, and ownership. Employees today and in the future need eBusiness knowledge to work effectively in innovative and entrepreneurial enterprises. The rate of change and complexity experienced in enterprise management and the workplace today is far greater than ever before. All managers need to understand the enabling power of technology and eBusiness applications. eBusiness emphasises the approaches necessary for organisations to change and succeed in today's global environment. The applications of eCommerce and eBusiness go far beyond the electronic data transfer systems used for financial and other business transactions. eBusiness is a key driver in national, international and global development. This program is relevant for prospective employees, managers, business' owners, consultants, entrepreneurs and specialist professionals. Students will gain skills and attributes relevant to local, regional and global workplace environments. On completion of the program students will be able to apply:
Students entering the program with strong business experience can take a work-related project driven approach to their learning through negotiated and agreed Learning Contracts. Other students may use Learning Contracts to enable them to focus on an industry (for example, financial services, insurance, banking, superannuation, health, government ) or a business function (for example, logistics), and take an individual research inquiry approach, within each unit.
